Yes, you can pause tracking time to an object using the Live Tracking lightning component added to the view page of an object, or from the Utility bar.

From the view page
- Go to the view page of an object where the Live Tracker is added
- Select the Project, Task, etc., and click the Check-In button
- The time now starts tracking and you see a Pause button
- Click the Pause button if you want to take a (coffee/tea) break,
- You now see a Restart button, click the Restart button when you are back from the break
- The time starts tracking again.
From Utility Bar
- To track time from the Utility bar, go to the TT apps from the App launcher, and click the Track Time button that is in the Utility bar,
- Select the Project, Task, etc., and click the Check-In button,
- The time now starts tracking and you see a Pause button
- Click the Pause button if you want to take a (coffee/tea) break,
- You now see a Restart button, click the Restart button when you are back from the break
- The time starts tracking again.
Note:
- When you click the Check-In button from the Live tracking component or from the Utility bar, there is a TT Detail entry with the Check-In time,
- When you click the Pause button, you see a Re-start button and the time stops tracking, it also updates the end time in the TT details
- Upon clicking the Restart button, there is a new TT detail entry and the Restart time is written as Check-In time, and when you Check-Out the end time gets updated in the TT details tab.
