Creating Projects from the My Projects Tab

You can create projects using the different options available in the My Projects tab.

The following three options are available for creating projects:

  • Create Project Record
  • Create Project via Wizard
  • Create Project from Template

Details of each option are explained below.


Create Project Record


Selecting Create Project Record opens a new Project page where you can manually enter project details such as:

  • Project Name
  • Start Date and End Date/Time
  • Project Hourly Rate
  • Other project-related information

Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory, while all other fields are optional.

Select the required Template Project (if applicable), enter the necessary details, and click Save to create the project.


Create Project via Wizard

  • The Create Project via Wizard option allows you to create a project using a guided process.
    You can add a detailed project description, and the related tasks are created automatically.

Create Project from Template

  • The Create Project from Template option allows you to create a project along with multiple predefined tasks using a selected template.

Note:
If you have already created a project and want to apply template tasks to it, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Project View.
  2. Select the required project.
  3. Click Apply Template.
  4. Search for the required template from the list.
  5. Select the template to apply the tasks to the project.
