There are 4 types of Approval Status in the PK4 TimeTracker application as 


  • Pending Approval
  • Approved
  • Awaiting Correction
  • Rejected


Pending Approval

  • By default, all the time details entered by the TimeTracker users using the PK4 TimeTracker Mobile, Web, Salesforce, or the Chrome Extension application are saved and shown with the status as "Pending Approval"
  • You can approve the Time details of the users from the "Approvals" sub-tab in the Time Review tab in Salesforce of the user for whom you are set as Reporting Manager or Approval Manager,  


Note: The Salesforce administrator at your org can change the default Approval Status from Pending Approval to any other Status by following the instructions here.


Approved

  • Once you approve the time details, those time details are shown with the approved status

Awaiting Correction

  • You can review the Time details of the users reporting to you. And if the time details are not correct, and need correction, you should change the Approval Status from Pending Approval to Awaiting Correction and save it.
  • You can also add the comments in the Discuss section, and mention what corrections are required for that specific time entry, and save it.
  • The user then sees the Approval Status as Awaiting Correction and checks the comments in the discuss section. Make the necessary changes to the time details, and click the Submit Approval button
  • The Approval Status is changed to Pending Approval from Awaiting Correction and submitted for approvals again.
  • You can now approve the time details.


Reject:

  • If the time details are not correct, you can reject them
    • To reject the Time details, select a row by clicking the check box that is at the beginning of a row and click the Reject button. Or
    • Go to the detail section of a time entry and change the Approval Status from Pending Approval to Rejected and Save it
