The default approval value for Time Details in the PK4 TimeTracker application is set to "Pending Approval." To change the default value, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Setup and go to the "TT Detail" from the object list, and click it.
  2. Click on "Fields and Relationships," and select "Approval Status" from the fields list.
  3. In the Approval Status screen, go to the Values section.
  4. Click the Edit button next to the status you want to set as the default value for Approval Status.
  5. Enable the checkbox "Make this value the default for the master picklist," and Save it.

Now, the status you selected in this process will be set as the default value for Time Details.


Note:

  • You can add a new Approval Status by clicking the New button in the Values section. Click here to know more about creating a new Approval Status
  • You can remove an Approval Status by clicking the"Deactivate" button that is next to the Approval Statuses in the Values screen. Click here to know more.
     




Note:

  • You can set the default status to "Unsubmitted" only if users are using the PK4 TimeTracker application in Salesforce or the Web app within your organization. However, if there are users tracking time using the TimeTracker Mobile app, the default status cannot be set to "Unsubmitted." This is because Mobile users do not have the option to edit time entries, and if their tracked time is set to "Unsubmitted," it will not be sent for approvals.
