Overview

Invoice emails may fail to send if the user does not have the required permissions to use the configured Org-Wide Email Address in Salesforce.

When this occurs, users may see the following error message:


INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_OR_READONLY: Not profiled to access this Org-Wide Email Address


This error indicates that the invoice email is attempting to send from an Org-Wide Email Address that the current user or profile is not authorized to use.

Resolution

Ask your Salesforce Administrator to review the Org-Wide Email Address settings by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup.
  2. Search for and open Org-Wide Addresses.
  3. Open the Org-Wide Email Address that is used for sending invoice emails.
  4. Configure one of the following options:
    • Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address, or
    • Grant access specifically to the profile of the user who is generating and sending invoice emails.
  5. Verify that the Org-Wide Email Address has been successfully verified in Salesforce.

Verification

After updating the access settings and ensuring the email address is verified, try sending the invoice email again.

The invoice email should be sent successfully once the user has the necessary permissions to use the configured Org-Wide Email Address.
