If a user is not reporting to you or is not part of your team, their name will not appear in the Users list on the Project View/Hub page while assigning tasks.
To resolve this, the Project Assignment feature is used.
Project Assignment allows managers or authorized users to assign a user to a specific project. Once assigned, the user becomes available in the Users list and can be assigned tasks within that project.
Steps to Assign a Project to a User
Navigate to the Project Assignment tab.
Click New.
Enter the required details:
Project Name
User (select the user you want to assign)
Assignment Start Date and Time
Assignment End Date and Time
Project to which the user should be assigned
Click Save.
After saving the Project Assignment:
The user is successfully assigned to the selected project.
The user’s name will now appear in the Users list on the Project View/Hub page.
You can assign tasks to the user for the selected project.
