If a user is not reporting to you or is not part of your team, their name will not appear in the Users list on the Project View/Hub page while assigning tasks.

To resolve this, the Project Assignment feature is used.

Project Assignment allows managers or authorized users to assign a user to a specific project. Once assigned, the user becomes available in the Users list and can be assigned tasks within that project.

Steps to Assign a Project to a User

  1. Navigate to the Project Assignment tab.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter the required details:

    • Project Name

    • User (select the user you want to assign)

    • Assignment Start Date and Time

    • Assignment End Date and Time

    • Project to which the user should be assigned

  4. Click Save.


After saving the Project Assignment:

  • The user is successfully assigned to the selected project.

  • The user’s name will now appear in the Users list on the Project View/Hub page.

  • You can assign tasks to the user for the selected project.
