You can edit task assignments by following the instructions below. The steps may vary depending on the view you are using in the Project View page.


Calendar View

  • Double-click on the task to open the pop-up window. Navigate to the Resources tab, then double-click on the user hours to modify the assigned hours. To deassign the task, click the Delete button.

Card View

  • Click the Edit button on the task card. In the pop-up window, go to the Resources tab and double-click on the user hours to update them. To remove the assignment, click the Delete button.

Gantt View

  • Double-click on the Assigned To field of a task. In the pop-up, you will see the list of assigned users along with their hours. Click on the hours to edit them, or click the Delete button to deassign the task.

Grid View

  • Double-click on the Assigned To field of a task. A pop-up will display the assigned users and their hours. Click on the hours to edit them, or use the Delete button to remove the assignment.

Task Assignment View

  • Double-click on the User Assigned field. Search for the required user in the list and select them. This action will remove the task assignment from the previous user and assign it to the newly selected user.
