Editing Existing Tasks in the Project View
The Project View page provides multiple ways to view and manage tasks, allowing you to edit task details based on your preferred layout. There are four available views:
Calendar
Card
Gantt
Grid
Each view offers a different way to access and edit existing tasks.
Calendar View
In the Calendar view, all project tasks are displayed as blue bars.
Double-click on a task (blue bar) to edit it.
Card View
In the Card view, tasks are displayed as tiles.
Click the pencil (edit) icon on a task tile to edit the task.
Gantt and Grid Views
In both Gantt and Grid views, tasks are displayed in a list format.
Hover over the task and right-click to open the context menu.
Select Full Edit to open the task edit pop-up.
Note: In the Gantt view, you can hover over the start or end of the task bar and drag it to the desired dates to update only the task’s start or end dates. of the taskbar and drag it to the desired dates to update only the task’s start or end dates.
Task Edit Popup Tabs
When editing a task, the edit pop-up contains three tabs: General, Resources, and Comments.
General
Use this tab to update basic task details, including:
Task start and end dates
Task hours
Stage
Status
Other general task information
Resources
Use this tab to manage task assignments:
Add or remove users assigned to the task
Edit the number of hours assigned to each user
Comments
Use this tab to:
Add comments or notes related to the task.
