Page unresponsive

You might occasionally see a “Page Unresponsive” message.

  • This happens when a project is created using the Project Wizard, which usually generates a large number of tasks. If you then click Indent or Outdent on a task from the Project view page, the system needs to update related tasks (such as setting the correct WBS numbers). This process takes some time.
  • If, while the backend update is still in progress, you switch to another tab or perform another action, the page may display the unresponsive message.

Blank screen in the Project Hub Todos

Imagine there is a Project to which multiple Managers have access.

  • One Manager manually assigns a Task to a User within Salesforce.

  • Another Manager, who also has access to the Resource Management app, goes to the To-Dos page and can see the list of tasks assigned to different people.

  • However, when this Manager clicks on a User’s icon to open the Task Assignment page, the page appears blank.

This happens when the User (to whom the Task is assigned) does not report to the logged-in Manager and is not part of the Manager’s Team, Admin Unit, etc.

Project Views

Missing Task ID

When you click the New Task button in any of the Project Views module and enter the task name, assign a user, add comments, and then try to save it, you may see the following error messages:

  • “Error: No task selected to comment on.”

  • “Error: Missing task ID” (when assigning a user).

This happens because the system currently requires the Task to be created first before you can assign a user or add comments.

Workaround:

  • Please create the Task separately first, and then assign it to the user and add comments.
  • We are working on enabling the option to create a Task, assign it to a user, and add comments all at once.
