Grid View

The Grid View displays Tasks in a simple row-based format, similar to a spreadsheet. This makes it easy to view, create, edit, and assign Tasks quickly without switching between different layouts.


Creating a New Task


You can create a Task directly from the Grid View:

  1. Click the Add Task button.

  2. In the General tab, enter the Task details.

  3. In the Resources tab, select users, assign hours, and click Add.

  4. Add comments in the Comments section if needed.

  5. Return to the General tab and click Save.

The Task will now be created and assigned to the selected users.


Context Menu Options


Right-click on a Task row to open the context menu, which includes:

  • Indent – Mark the Task as a sub-task of another Task.

  • Outdent – Remove the Task from the sub-task list.

  • Insert Row Above/Below – Add a new Task row above or below the selected Task.

  • Delete – Remove the selected Task.

  • Full Edit – Edit the entire Task row, allowing multiple changes at once.

  • Open in New Tab – Open the Task in a separate tab for detailed editing.

You can also access the context menu icons from the top-right corner of the Grid View page.


Task Assignments

  • Assigned users appear in the Assigned To column of each row.

  • The user list is displayed on the right-hand side of the page. You can drag and drop a user tile onto a Task row to assign that Task to the user.
