To Request an Edit to Your Time Entry
You can request to edit your time entries by following the steps below:
Go to the Time Review tab and click on "My Time."
Search for the approved time entry you wish to edit and click the pencil icon next to it.
A pop-up will appear on the right-hand side with two tabs: Details and Discuss.
Go to the Discuss tab, enter your comment explaining that you want to edit the time entry, and click Submit.
Your manager will receive a notification about your comment. They will review your request and change the status of that specific time entry from Approved to Pending Approval.
The manager may also leave a note in the Discuss tab confirming the status change.
Note:
If you want to add additional hours, you can create a new time entry and submit it for approval. This will result in two time entries for the same day. Be sure to include a note in the Discuss tab explaining the reason for the second entry.
Only edit an existing time entry if:
You do not want multiple time entries for the same day, or
You need to adjust the hours negatively (reduce time already logged).
