Creating a Task in Project Management

To create a new Task, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Gantt tab in the Project Management module.

  2. Select the relevant Project from the project list.

  3. Click the "+" (Add) button to create a new Task.

  4. In the pop-up window:

    • Enter the Task Name in the Title field.

    • Set the Start Date and End Date.

    • Specify the Estimated Hours and other relevant details.

    • Click Done to create the Task.

Assigning the Task

You can assign the task to a user immediately or do it later:

  • Immediate Assignment:

    1. Go to the Resources tab.

    2. Select the User, and assign the task by adding the planned hours.
