By default, auto calculations are enabled for invoices in your organization.
This feature is designed to automatically compute the invoice amount, factoring in various components such as invoice line items (time details), materials used (if applicable), taxes, and surcharges.
Please note: Disabling auto calculations means the invoice amount won't be computed automatically. In such cases, you'll need to manually calculate the invoice line items, taxes, and surcharges, and then add them to the final total before saving the invoice.
By default, the auto calculation flag is enabled in your organization. Should you wish to disable this feature, please follow the instructions below:
- Navigate to the TimeTracker Flags tab in Salesforce.
- Locate and click on the "Enable-auto-calculate-final-total" string.
- Access the edit screen and set the Text Value to 0 to disable the auto calculations.
- Save your changes.
Once completed, the auto calculations for invoices will be disabled in your organization.
