You see the text as "Volunteer will be signed up and Checked in" and nothing happens when you click it.

This is because the desired number of volunteers is not added in Salesforce for the Job/Shift.

Please add the desired number of volunteers to the Job/Shift in Salesforce and then try to Signup or Check-In the volunteer on the V4S Kiosk application.
