You can now hide the first-level object in the Manual Entry lighting component in Salesforce


e.g: If the TimeTracker application is set to track time to 

  • Project
  • Task, and
  • Worktypes

And The Manual Entry lighting component is added to the Cases object in your org. As the Manual Entry lighting component is added to Cases, the time can be tracked for Cases, Task, and Worktype.


Let's see how to configure this

  • From the TimeTracker configurations screen,
  • Go to the In-Salesforce tab,
  • Click on the General Setup sub-tab
  • Select Cases in the "Hide First combo for Lighting component for objects"
  • Click the Save button.


Note: You should select Cases in the Hide First combo for the lighting component for object field. As the Manual Entry lighting component is added to Cases objects, the Case ID is automatically saved when the user tracks time using the manual entry lighting component from the case view page.



Please Note: You can hide the First, second, or Third level objects in the Manual Entry lighting component screen by following the same instructions.
