By default, the TimeTracker application is set to track time to Project, Task, and Worktype objects.


If you are using the Project Management module in your org, you should change the default configurations. The objects for tracking time should be Project, Task Assignment, and Worktype (optional). Then the users will see the correct objects for tracking time.


To change the configuration,


  • Go to the TT apps tab in Salesforce,
  • Click on the app name and go to the configuration screen
  • Click the Pop-up list and then go to the second-level object
  • Select TT Task Assignment from the list
  • Save the configurations
  • The users should log out and re-login to the TimeTracker application to see the configuration changes
