Only projects that have Start and End dates specified and the "Managed Project" checkbox enabled will appear in the Gantt chart for task assignments.
Creating a New Project
To create a new project:
- Navigate to the Project tab and click New.
- Enter the Project Name, specify the Start and End dates, and enable the "Managed Project" checkbox.
- Click Save.
Enabling an Existing Project for Task Assignment
If a project is already created but does not appear in the Project Management module, it is likely because the "Managed Project" checkbox is not enabled.
To update the project:
- Go to the Project Edit page.
- Enter the Start and End dates (if not already set).
- Enable the "Managed Project" checkbox.
- Click Save.
Once updated, the project will be ready for task assignments in the Gantt tab.
