Assigning Licenses to TimeTracker Modules
PK4 TimeTracker includes several optional modules, such as:
TimeTracker Manager,
TimeTracker Mobile,
PTO,
Expenses,
Jira,
Project Management – To access the Project View, Project Hub, or any related Project Modules, users must have a Project Management license.
Resource Management,
Project User – Allows access only to the My Projects and Project Hub module.
Billing Module (Invoicing),
Slack,
Xero Integration,
Asana Integration,
Shift Manager, etc.
For TimeTracker users to use any of these modules, they must be assigned a license for the specific module after you purchase those licenses.
Steps to Assign a Module License to a TimeTracker User
Create a TimeTracker (TT) User by following the instructions here.
Go to the PK4 Licenses tab in Salesforce.
Click the New button to open the New PK4 License pop-up.
In the License for TT User field, select the TimeTracker user you want to assign the license to.
In the PK4 Module field, select the module to assign to this user.
Set the Assigned On and License Valid Thru dates (these define the start and end dates for the user’s access).
Click Save.
That’s it! The selected TimeTracker user now has access to the module you assigned.
Important Notes
You must repeat this process for each module that every user requires access to.
If your org does not have enough licenses for the selected module, you will see an error message when you click Save.
