Slack integration with PK4 TimeTracker
- Open Slack and click on Profile,
- From the Profile, click the Add workspaces and click Create a new workspace,
- You can add your team members to the new workspace that you added
- Click the "Add to Slack" button,
- Go to Apps in Slack from the Menu items,
- Click on PK4 TimeTracker tile,
- Go to the Messages sub-tab, you see the Slack ID,
- Enter the ID in the TimeTracker configuration,
To access the TimeTracker config screen
- Log in to Salesforce as Administrator
- Go to the TT Apps tab
- Click the Config button
- You see the tab as Integration
- Click on the Slack icon
- Enter the Slack ID that you copied from Slack
- After you enter the Slack ID, the user will get an OTP in their Slack app,
- Enter the OTP in the OTP screen in the Integration (configuration Screen)
- Click the Save button
- Now go to slack and key in/enter "/pk4 sysinfo"
- You see the User ID, copy it
- Go to PK4 Licenses and add the Slack User ID with the TT user,
- In the PK4 Licenses,
- Select the TT User
- Select Slack Integration in the PK4 Module
- Assigned on, License Valid Thru,
- Slack ID in the External ID,
- License Valid from date and click the Save button
- Now the Slack User is linked with the TimeTracker user.
- The Slack user can now Check-In to the Projects, from Slack by entering the command "/pk4 check-in".
- Refer to the Home screen in the PK4 TimeTracker app in Slack for more commands.
