As you use applications, they start storing files to refer later. These files are stored in an app "cache." For instance: When you're using an Android or iPhone app, it'll save images and other pieces of information in the phone app so that they don't have to be downloaded each and every single time the app needs them.
Due to this, sometimes the app performance is slow or V4S Kiosk Users are not able to log in to the app after entering the App Key, Email ID, and Password. To solve this issue, please clear the data of the V4S Kiosk application and then log in to the V4S Kiosk application.
To clear the Cache/data for the V4S Kiosk application on an Android device
- Click the Phone Settings icon of the device which you are using for the V4S Kiosk application and go to App Management and click it. Search for the V4S Kiosk application from the installed packages list and click it. You see a button as Clear Data, click it, and click the ok button. The Cache files are cleared on the phone for the V4S Kiosk app
If you are using an iOS device, you should double click the center button on the device and clear the V4S Kiosk application from the recently used application list and it automatically removes all the cached data on the device.
Go back to the V4S Kiosk app on the phone and enter App Key, Email ID, and Password to login to the app. As you have cleared the data you should enter App Key, Email ID, and the Password to re-login to the V4S Kiosk application.
Note: No data is lost from any of the apps on the phone if you clear Cache for the applications on the device. Only the temporary files get deleted and you might need to re-enter the ID and PW to re-login to the application.
