An Event in our context is just a Shift that has Attendees (your guests). You can add a guest as an Attendee as follows:


  • Log in to Salesforce
  • Go to the Volunteer Jobs list
  • Click the Job that holds the relevant Shift
  • Go to the Related tab
  • From the Shifts list, click the Shift ID which represents the Event
  • Go to the Related tab of the Shift
  • Scroll down to see the V4S Attendees subtab (if V4S Attendee subtab is not found, please add - or ask your Admin to add - it to the current page layout)



  • Click the New button

  • Add more information to the fields which are marked in red as in the Screenshot here
    • Contact: the Attendee must already be a Salesforce Contact, if the contact does not exist, please add the attendee's contact information first
    • # of Guests: add details as how many Guest are accompanying with the attendee
    • Payment Details: Detailed information about payments made by Cash, Cheque, etc.,
    • On-spot Donation: If any donation made by the Attendee
    • Seated at Table: You can set up seating details if there are different Tables for Donors, Volunteers, etc.,
    • Recurring: to add information if the Attendee is a Donor (Optional)
    • Donor Level: If there is any information about the donor level, please add that here
    • Status: Attendee Status if she is a confirmed, unconfirmed Attendee for the event
    • Guest of: This is the Contact who has invited this Attendee to the Event. Please select the Contact name from the search contact option.
  • Click the Save button.

Now the Guest has been added to the Event.
